Granice Valley

Gránické údolí is a beautiful green valley just steps away from the Znojmo city center. This hidden nature reserve offers peaceful hiking trails, rich wildlife, and stunning rock formations along the Gránický brook.

The valley is a perfect place for a quiet walk, picnic, or even a short escape from the town’s streets. Trails are well-marked and lead you past small bridges, limestone cliffs, and shady forest paths. In spring and summer, the valley bursts into greenery and colorful wildflowers.

You can start your walk right below the castle area and make a loop back through the southern city walls.
